Sudden storms are short
Sudden lies are transparent
Sudden appearances are fearful
Sudden deaths are worse
Sudden,
Sudden,
Sudden,
Sudden is the moment the flame leaps
Sudden is the moment of life
Sudden is the living – all too brief
But…
More Sudden is how it ceased.
The still sad music of humanity
Pulsed in my ears, making them
Bleed with incencerity
I cried to the requriem
Of their freedom,
Dirged in drum beats
Of heart
The harmony of life
Split me asunder
And poured my entrials
On the ground
Taken as cat gut –
They were used…
To string the bow
That played
The music
Of Humanity
Sunday’s Moon bulldozes the weekend, violently dragging the week with it
Monday’s Moon sips coffee forlorn at the week ahead
Tuesday’s Moon serrinades Wednesday in a cheerful sort of way
Wednesday’s Moon consumes pizza whilst trying to share with the rest of the week
Thursday’s Moon sits in dispair at the waning week wondering when all the works going to get done
Friday’s Moon exhustively drags itself to the bar to drink malty piss in relief
Saturday’s Moon relaxes stretched out with a glass of wine sighing deeply
Until…
Sunday’s Moon bulldozes the weekend
There are several hashtags you can use on twitter to track down news on poetry and other poets 🙂 I thought I’d make a list:
If I remember anymore of them I will add them!
And I’m off!
I have some ideas that I’m going to be working my way through including using an online art collection as writing stimuli 🙂
I am actually quiet excited about this even though I did a poem a day in February. I am collecting together supplies for visual poetry meet ups and the like and looking into more aesthetic forms of letter layout etc…
I have decided that though I am doing ScriptFrenzy and thus started WoPoWriMo so I would a have a poetry challenge that did not clash with it – I am none the less now going to do NaPoWriMo anyway :/
So I am gearing up for another month of writing a poem a day!
I haven’t finished typing up all the ones from February yet :/ However I think I’m going to be focusing on things like Visual Poetry this time round.
Texture defined over finger tips
playing with thread
Fluffed and frayed
Mine
The sensation, small, secure
Rooting me to this
Showing the reality
Of something at least
There are colours I know
possibly a rainbow
But I simply do not know
Tactile feel
leads me saftely on
But I can not see in this
maybe that is a good thing
What will I see
When illumination falls?
Yeah! I think I’ve had a baby and that baby is the WoPoWriMo Web-badge! Plus I get to show everybody that I took part in the month of poetic madness 🙂

Sisters glare
At odds
Mothers remembered
More than a simple sore point
The war of faith
The wars of nations
Where England stands
Rests with these two
As always
At loggerheads
